NZ farm investment company MyFarm have released a public offer allowing retail investors to participate in a Canterbury dairy farm investment from $20,000. TPLP Farm Investments were formed to enable smaller investors to invest passively in the new MyFarm syndicate, Te Pahau Limited Partnership, a 295ha dairy farm milking 990 cows in the Hurunui district of North Canterbury. This is the fifth public offering by MyFarm in the past 18mths. Over 100 New Zealanders have invested $8.5m into five dairy farm syndicates through their Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs). All CIV shares are tradeable via MyFarm Trading, a private market on the Unlisted trading platform. The TPLP Farm Investments Ltd offer is open until June 27. MyFarm currently include 47 dairy units among their farms under management. Total assets are valued at $550m.
