The average farmgate milk price in the UK in July 2024 is estimated by Defra to have been 39.48ppl, up 1.5% (0.57ppl) from June and 11% higher than the same month last year. June milk production is estimated at 1,246m litres, down 0.1% from last year and starting their normal seasonal decline.
